ORDERING & PAYMENT METHODS
Orders can be placed using our website, by telephone, fax, or by mailing a completed order form to us.  Detailed Play Systems  accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Check/Money Order. Check orders will take longer to process. We prefer that you use our website if possible to place your order.  Here's how to get started now:
(1) Order your selected kits, slides, and playground equipment accessories
(2) Download or print out our Lumber Guide - Order lumber locally for delivery or pickup.
(3) That's it!  You'll have everything needed to build your Jungle Fort Swingset delivered to your home.

Detailed Play Systems receives the contents of the order form that you submit from our website instantly and securely using Plug-N-Pay's advanced SSL technology - this is the secure socket layer state-of-the-art for securing electronic commerce transactions.  Your credit card number is not transmitted to Detailed Play Systems with your order and is only available to us via secure encrpyted transfer if we request it afterwards for future processing needs.
 
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Introduce Detailed
Detailed Play Systems ships to all 48 states within the continental US (see below for other locations). Order-to-delivery time can range from 3 up to 14 days depending upon order contents and the delivery location.  Main Kits (containing plans, hardware, and vinyl roof/sandbox cover) ship from our warehouse in just 1-2 business days, promptly delivering everything needed to build. Additional time is necessary to prepare some playground equipment shipments since we provide customers with the flexibility of fully customizing their playground selections. Orders that do not contain oversized or heavy freight items will be shipped UPS Ground. Orders containing items such as slides, tube tunnel, or landscape timbers will require Motor Freight truck delivery (see terms and conditions for motor freight below). Playground Kits can be ordered with or without a slide so that customers can choose whether Motor Freight truck or UPS will be required for delivery.

Standard Shipping Costs:
- Playground Kits (UPS, No Slides/Freight Items*): $20.-$30. 
- Playground Kits (With Any Slide/Freight Item*): $120.-$155.

- Accessories (UPS, based on items ordered, calculated and shown before checkout): $7.95+

**Shipping Total - Heavier Freight Orders:
A Shipping Total will be displayed on the checkout page prior to placing your order. This shipping total and the guideline quotes in the table above apply to most orders, but cannot be guaranteed for orders containing heavy freight or orders with delivery addresses outside of the continental US.

For orders with delivery addresses outside of the continental US, or orders that contain heavy freight (such as playground border timbers, larger quantities of freight items), the shipping cost for delivery may be higher than the amount shown at checkout since our shopping cart is unable to calculate shipping rates for these orders. If necessary, we will verify a manual freight quote and provide a revised shipping quote via email for customer review and approval prior to order processing. Email or call to confirm freight cost for an order or for further shipping information.

Terms and Conditions for Motor Freight Delivery (orders containing Slides, Timbers, Freight Items):

By placing an order for any product requiring motor freight delivery, customer authorizes Detailed Play Systems to hire a freight trucking company on customer's behalf.  All sales requiring motor freight delivery are Freight On Board (FOB) meaning that title ownership of the goods transfers to customer when goods are loaded onto truck at seller's facilities.  Seller is not liable in the unlikely event that loss or damage occurs thereafter.  Customer is responsibile for incoming inspection of the goods at the time of delivery and for noting any shortages or damage to the goods on the freight slip that customer must sign to receive the delivery.  Detailed Play Systems will assist customer with filing freight claim and receiving replacement product in the unlikely event of a damaged or missing goods problem. Once the freight slip is signed 'received in good order' by the customer, there is no possibility of filing a successful freight damage claim. Motor freight company will call customer ahead of time to schedule an appointment to deliver the goods.  Customer or customer's representative must be present at time of delivery. Customer may be responsible for an additional re-delivery fee if the truck arrives with the goods but the customer is not present for the delivery. Customer is responsible to assure that a 48ft-long freight truck is able to get to the provided shipping address, or otherwise make arrangements to pick up the goods from the local freight terminal or transfer the goods at a mutually agreed upon location that the freight truck can get to - most freight companies do not have smaller trucks. It is the customers responsibility to facilitate the delivery and to assure that delivery of the goods to their shipping address by a freight truck is possible. Motor freight company terms for delivery is curbside unload by customer, meaning that customer is responsible for unloading the goods at curbside in front of the house - the driver's responsibility ends with opening the back of the truck.  Most drivers will help with unload, however they are not required to do so. Additional services such as lift gate unload, inside delivery, or smaller truck usage - although rarely required - may be available from the freight company for an additional charge. These services are not included in the shipping total paid with customer's order, and must be requested/approved by customer at delivery scheduling time and paid directly to the freight carrier. Slide deliveries can usually be easily unloaded and brought into the yard or garage by one person, but in the case of the mulch due to total weight of the goods, it is recommended that you plan to have someone assist you with receiving the delivery.

 

* Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Other locations outside Continental US:
Some orders can be delivered to some addresses outside of the continental US, but additional charges that are not included in your online order total will apply.  Under no circumstances can DPS deliver any slide or mulch outside of the continental US due to motor freight delivery requirements for these products.  Additional shipping costs below are provided as guideline estimates.
DPS processing, delivery, and shipping cost for these orders cannot be guaranteed in every instance.
   Canada:        ADD 1x shipping total for UPS Ground to Canada (import fees, govt duty, taxes are customer's responsibility)
   AK, HI, PR:   ADD 1.5x shipping total for UPS Air service.
   Other:           Call or email for more information.
Customers residing outside of the continental US can also hire their own independent forwarding agent that is based in the US.  In this case, DPS will guarantee delivery to the agent's US address.  DPS may be able to provide customer with a referral to a forwarding agent that was used by one of our past customers in your location - call to inquire about this option.

Our easy-to-use shopping cart program will keep track of everything you add to your shopping cart for as long as you'd like to shop on our website and keep your browser running.  If you are unsure about using a shopping cart program, don't be afraid to practice and learn how... remember, nothing is sent until you go to [Secure Checkout], enter 'secure' mode, and you click [Submit Payment] after final review of the information.

ADDING  ITEMS
Products on our website may be conveniently added to your shopping cart on any page of our website that they are presented.  Just enter quantities and click [Add] or [Purchase].  For example, to order one of our All-in-1 Swingset Kits you can go to either the Projects or Catalog page and enter the indicated quantities and colors for Roof, Slide, Swings, and Handgrips and then click [Add] or [Purchase].

Our shopping cart program allows you to conveniently mix and match colors as required.  For example, you may choose (1) red swing, (1) blue swing, (2) green handgrips, (1) yellow handgrips and click [Add].

To add an item, or group of items, to your cart just enter the quantity for each item in the box next to that item.  Then click [Add] or [Purchase] and those items are now in your cart!  Its that easy.  Remember, you may buy as many items as you'd like by placing the quantities in each of the boxes and clicking [Add] or [Purchase]... you only need to click [Add] or [Purchase] once to place all items you've chosen into your cart.

VIEW / MODIFY CONTENTS OF CART
Click on any of the [View], [Add], or [Purchase] buttons at any time followed by [View Contents] to see exactly what items, colors, and quantities that you have placed in your shopping cart and the order subtotal.

To remove an item, a group of items, or all items, begin by following instructions above for VIEW CART. This will show you exactly what is in your shopping cart and you may remove individual item(s) by clicking [Remove Item] next to the item(s) you want to remove, or you may remove all items and start over by clicking the button labelled
[Empty Shopping Cart].  Click [Continue Shopping] to resume ADDING ITEMS to your shopping cart.

CHECKING OUT - FINAL STEP
To buy the products you've chosen, begin by following instructions for VIEW CART.   Verify that these are the products you wish to purchase and click [Proceed to Checkout].  Read and intial the Terms of Sale and click 
[Secure Checkout].  At this point your browser will indicate that you are using 'secure' mode.  Enter your billing and shipping information and click [Summarize Order].  Perform a final review of the order information and then click [Submit Payment] and your order is now on its way to you!

 
SALES TAX

The state of New Jersey requires that we collect 7.0% sales tax on orders with ship-to addresses within the state of New Jersey. This amount will be automatically calculated and added to your order for review before completing final checkout.
